Curious minds wanted! Join us at the Seneca branch for a hands-on program where you get to explore the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math through fun experiments. Registration is required. Ages 6-11.
Are you struggling with your technical device? Each Tuesday between 2:00-3:00 PM, bring your Kindle, iPad, smart phone, laptop, or other device and we will assist you to the best of our abilities. Availability is on a first come, first serve basis.
Explore your creativity with LEGOs at our LEGO Club! Designed for ages 6-11, this program offers a fun, hands-on building experience using the library’s LEGO collection. Whether you’re building a spaceship, a castle, a garden, or something else entirely your own, the possibilities are endless. It’s a time for imagination, innovation, and free play. No instructions needed, just your creativity! Registration is required. Ages 6-11.
The Friends of the Library advocate for the Oconee County Public Library and raise funds used to purchase books (printed, audio and e-books) and other audio-visual materials and library furnishings and supplies. Used book sales include adult fiction & non-fiction, young adult, picture books — and more!
Participants will brainstorm their own board game objectives and rules and then use a variety of crafting supplies to create the crucial components. Finish your game before the program is over? Play it with the other participants! Registration is required. Ages 12-17.
