Volunteering
We are grateful for your interest in volunteering for the Oconee County Public Library.
- Volunteers enhance the efforts of paid library staff in meeting demands for quality public service.
- Volunteers aid the library in making the best use of its fiscal resources and contribute to sound working relationships with citizens, community groups and organizations.
- Volunteers are advocates to the public for library services and needs, and as such represent the library and Oconee County.
- The library is unable to accept volunteers for court-ordered community service.
Please contact the Administrative Assistant, 864-364-5703 to become a volunteer or for more information.
