Shark Week: Shark Art

Garden Art
Paint flowerpots inspired by nature or something that moves you. Registration is required and opens June 7. Ages 18+
Color in Our Wild World with Riverbanks Zoo
The variety of colors in nature is endless but purposeful. Join the worldwide game of hide and seek as we discover how plants, animals, and Riverbanks’ keepers use colors. Participants will observe biofacts, explore through hands-on activities, and be introduced to a fantastic reading list to help them experience the wonderful colors found in nature. This program will take place at the Walhalla Performing Arts Center.
Critter Keeper
The Critter Keeper brings a unique blend of information, magic, and scares (with around 17 kinds of creepy-crawlies). Learn about how geography and environment impact animals’ adaptations and fun facts about a host of critters ranging from lizards, mammals, amphibians, and more in this enriching, interactive event for the whole family. This program will take place at the Walhalla Performing Arts Center.
Summer Reading Kick-Off Party!
Join us at High Falls to celebrate the beginning of this year’s Summer Reading Program, Color Our World! Admission to the park will be free. Enjoy Kona Ice, yard games, a splatter paint activity from Color Chaos Studio, and more. Fun for the whole family!
