Get your hands dirty and make some seed balls! Seed balls are a great way to plant flowers in open spaces, random spaces, or even in your garden bed. Registration required and will open April 8. If you find you cannot attend after you have registered, please let us know. Ages 5-11

MAR10 Day Celebration!

Celebrate everyone’s favorite plumber who rescues princesses with a fun afternoon of all things Mario! Test your gaming skills against others by playing Nintendo Switch games. Get creative with crafts. Power-up with some yummy treats. Registration required. Free Vision Screening

All ages are welcome at this free vision screening provided by the Salem Lions Club.  Those who do not pass the screening will be provided a referral to an area eye doctor for further screening and one pair of glasses, if needed, provided by the Salem Lions Club.  Spanish interpretation will be available.

Mardi Gras Scavenger Hunt

In celebration of Mardi Gras, there are paper King Cakes hidden around the library. Find which ones have a baby hidden behind it and win Mardi Gras beads. All Ages

Kid’s Craft: Resist Art Snowman

Kids are invited to use resist art to make painted snowmen. Registration is required. Registration opens on January 16. If after registering you find you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that others who may be waiting can attend. Ages 5-11

Gingerbread Storytime

Join us for a special all things gingerbread storytime and a craft with a special storyteller. Registration required. Please register each child who will attend. Grinch Scavenger Hunt

December 1 to 31. The Grinch hid all the presents and food he stole from Whoville all around the library. Help us find them all and win a Grinch-themed prize (as supplies last). All ages

Bigfoot Craft

Registration will open on September 25. Celebrate the SC Bigfoot Festival heading to town by creating your own Bigfoot foam craft. Registration is required. Ages 3-12

Winter Crafternoon Drop-In

Drop by and see us at the Walhalla branch to create winter-themed crafts. Participants will have a variety of craft options to choose from. Registration is required. Ages 0-17.

Junior Beekeeper Adventure

Join us as Steve and Valerie Priole of Flip Flop Farms, LLC. take us on an adventure about beekeeping. They will teach us about bees, hives, and much more. They will discuss bee safety and will have hands-on fun with touching beeswax or trying on gear. There will even be honey for tasting. Registration is required and will open on September 16. Ages 5-12
