Summer Reading 2026
We invite you to Unearth a Story this summer by participating in our Summer Reading program! Participants who complete the reading challenge will receive a medal (under 18), a ticket voucher for a Greenville Drive game, and a prize (under 18). If you want to complete more than one reading log, GO FOR IT! Every completed log = 1 grand prize entry.
We have prizes for four age groups:
- Prereaders - Ages 0-5
- Independent Readers - Ages 6-11
- Teen Readers - Ages 12-17
- Adults - Ages 18+
All reading logs are due by July 22nd if you want to be entered into the prize drawings!
Children and Teen Readers
Children and Teenagers are invited to read (or be read to) for 600 minutes this summer. Books, comics, e-books, picture books, and audiobooks count as reading! Log your reading with our free app from Beanstack or pick-up a reading log at any OCPL location.
Adult Readers
Adults (ages 18 and up) are invited to read for 600 minutes (10 hours) this summer. Attending one adult program counts for 60 minutes (1 hour) of reading. Log your reading with our free app from Beanstack or pick-up a reading log at any OCPL location.
