SUMMER READING 2023
What is Beanstack?
Beanstack is a digital platform where participants log their reading and join challenges designed by library staff. There are activities for all ages, babies to adults. Registration is quick and simple, and caregivers can register all of their children in one place. Beanstack allows you to log your reading and activities, at home and on the go using the Beanstack Tracker app.
As patrons log their reading and activities, they will earn digital badges. Beanstack will automatically keep track of how many badges are earned.
How It Works
We're challenging every participant to read (or be read to) for at least 600 minutes. Return your completed reading log to the library for an entry into our prize drawings. Participants who complete the reading challenge will also receive a medal (if under 18), free pizza (if under 18) and a ticket voucher for a Greenville Drive game. If you want to complete more than one reading log, GO FOR IT! Every completed log = 1 prize entry.
We have prizes for four age groups:
- Emergent Readers - Ages 0-5
- Independent Readers - Ages 6-11
- Teen Readers - Ages 12-18
- Adults - Ages 18+
All reading logs are due by July 24th if you want to be entered into the prize drawings!
