New Resources!

cloudLibrary for e-books!

We’re pleased to announce the addition of a new e-book service, cloudLibrary. cloudLibrary offers both e-books and e-audiobooks. The best part about cloudLibrary is that the library will be able to offer nearly eight times more titles than are currently featured in OverDrive. The web-based app and device apps are very simple to use. Apps are available for many devices, including Google Play and iOS. cloudLibrary will work with Kindle Fire devices, but not with Kindle e-ink devices.

The OCPL has partnered with several other libraries in the state of varying sizes to offer more content than ever on its e-book platform. While the library will also offer OverDrive until May 25, 2021, cloudLibrary will eventually replace OverDrive for all e-books in the library. Check it out today at oconeelibrary.org/ocpl-digital-media/, or by downloading the cloudLibrary app and then clicking the country, state, and library when prompted. If an item is checked out, it can be put on hold just like you would a physical book.  All you need to access all these titles in your library card and PIN. Don’t have a card? We can do that right online for you as well. Go to ocl.tlcdelivers.com and look for the “Get a Library Card” link in the upper right corner. Check it out today!
